Ingredients to make Andalusian alfajores:

1. We gather all the ingredients to prepare the Andalusian alfajores.

2. We prepare a syrup with water and sugar. We take it to boil for 10 minutes and let cool.

3. In a blender, we grind the almonds and hazelnuts until a fine flour is achieved.

Trick: If you use almonds with skin, it is necessary to peel them before. For this you only have to scald them in boiling water and pinch the skin.

4. To continue with this recipe of Spanish sweets we heat the honey in a pot until it boils.

5. Add the rest of the ingredients to honey: spices, flour, ground nuts, breadcrumbs, sesame and half of the syrup. We mix everything well until a sticky paste is formed.

Trick: If you do not have a ground nail, you can crush a clove of smell in the mortar.

6. We place the paste on baking paper and we shape with the hands of almond and hazelnut alfajores. Unlike Argentine alfajores, these Andalusian sweets have a cylindrical shape.

7. We refer home almond almond almonds with the remaining syrup and Glass sugar.

8. If we want an original presentation for these Andalusian alfajores, we can wrap them with colored cellophane paper. I hope you like them! And if you want to combine them you can also make some homemade mantecados or dusts.
